2017 School and Symposium on Advanced Neurorehabilitation
The 2017 School and Symposium on Advanced Neurorehabilitation (SSNR2017) provided a dynamic environment for discussion and in-depth education on advanced procedures for neurorehabilitation covering a wide range of topics -form basic to advance levels-, including advanced electrode and biosensor design, biomechanical modelling, mechatronics, biosignal processing and assistive rehabilitation technologies.
2016 School and Symposium on Advanced Neurorehabilitation
Two years ago the Summer school of neurorehabilitation and the Demove symposium came together in an intense week offering some exceptional opportunities to the participants to increase their skills and knowledge in the astonishing field of Neurorehabilitation.
Summer School on Neurorehabilitation
From 2011-2015, the Summer School on Neurorehabilitation has provided in-depth education on advanced procedures for neurorehabilitation of motor dysfunction following stroke, spinal cord injury, and cerebral palsy, covering practical applications based on innovative neuroprosthetic systems, robotic interfaces and other combinational approaches. It has brought together students, researchers and world-class professors from the fields of clinical rehabilitation and biomedical engineering in order to promote and encourage this global shift in therapy.

DEMOVE Symposium
A yearly symposium on neurorehabilitation has been established since 2012 within the framework of DEMOVE (‘Decoding the Neural Code of Human Movements for a New Generation of Man-machine Interfaces’), bringing students, researchers and senior scientists together from the fields of advanced electrode and biosensor design, biomechanical modelling and mechatronics, biosignal processing and assistive rehabilitation technologies. DEMOVE is a European project that is supported by an Advanced Grant of the European Research Council (ERC).
